Harriet Willis McDonald, age 93, died Friday, May 21, 2004 in Oklahoma City. Harriet was born in Guthrie, Oklahoma on September 14, 1910. She graduated from Classen High School in 1928, and then attended Sullins College in Bristol, Virginia. She graduated in 1932 from The University of Oklahoma with a degree in English. She was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta while at OU and was President of the Theta Alumni Association in 1965. Harriet was a founding member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and a past president of the Westminster Women's Association. She was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, William H. McDonald, her parents, Mr. & Mrs. George H. Willis, and her brother, George H. Willis, Jr. She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Janie and Bill Comstock of Oklahoma City, and son and daughter in law, George and Maureena McDonald of Houston, Texas. Harriet is also survived by two grandsons, Brent McDonald of San Diego, California and Braden McDonald and wife Ashley also of San Diego, California.
