Mrs. Frances White Parvin 83, Route 5, McKinney Road, Rogersville,ndied Sunday morning, April 4, atnHawkins County Memorial Hospital after an extended illness.

She was a member of Persia United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry G. Parvin, January 16, 1982.

Surviving are eight daughters, Mrs. Irene Thomas, Mrs. Vergie Dykes, Mrs. Mable Evans and Mrs. Wanda Gilliam, all of Rogersville, Mrs. Verna Smith, Church Hill, Mrs. Gladys
Childress, Kingsport, Mrs. Mildred Claiborne, Chattanooga and Mrs. Viola Day, Toronto, Ontario, Canada; four sons, Glenn Parvin, Kingsport, Henry T. Parvin, Jr. and David Parvin both of Rogersville and Harlan Parvin, Church Hill; 30 grandchildren and 25 greatgrandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Fred Chesnutt, Rogersville, Ebbie Jane Guthrie, Hawthorne, Calif., and Mrs. Kellar Long, Anderson, Ind.; one
brother, Lawrence White, Kingsport.

Services were held Tuesday afternoon at Broome Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Raymond Hicks officiating.

Burial was followed in Highland Cemetery.
