Gussie Mcatee Phillips, 89, of 25 Arch Street, widow of Henry P. Phillips, died Tuesday. Born in Clay County, N.C., she was a retired employee of Brandon mill.
Surviving are daughters, Catherine Phillips and Christine Phillips Lawson of Greenville; sons, Wayne, Wallace, Cecil, and Billy Phillips, all of Greenville; a sister Laura Odell Strickland of Greenville; 16 grand children and 25 great grand children.
Services will take place on Friday at Thomas Mcafee Funeral Home; burial in Graceland Cemetery.
The body is at the residence.
