I am related to the Graham family and a senior member of the family requested me to add this cemetery that is on private property and he requested that I maintain control of the memorials. I get multiple request for them to be transferred. Eveyone needs to keep in mind there are hundreds of relatives and everyone can not control one memorial. Wesley Graham was the s/o William Alexander and Mary Johnson Graham.
Temperance Jane Abbott d/o William and Juda Davis Abbott married Wesley's brother, James Alexander Graham.

Wesley and Nancy Graham are in the 1850 census in Pickens, South Carolina western division
Their first three children were born in SC so they moved to Miss around 1854.

Wesley's grandparents were Stafford and Elizabeth Berryman Graham.
I would love to have contact with anyone from this line. I presently have 71 DNA matches from Stafford and Elizabeth that I am trying to place in my files. I have lots of info I am glad to share with cousins, near and far.

Nancy Johnson stated that her daughter, Mary, had married Elizabeth's(Stafford's widow) son, William.
I researched the descendants of William and Mary Dennard Abbott for over 15 years with another researcher, Larry Abbott. I have over 12,000 of their descendants and not a single Mary Temperance Abbott among them.

Where that name came from I do not know. But she did not exist in Upstate SC where the Abbotts and Grahams settled around 1814-1818.

If anyone can show me proof that Nancy Johnson lied in 1848 and that there was a Mary Temperance Abbott I will change over 30 years of research long before the internet.
