He was a veteran of WWII serving in the US Navy 25 Apr 1945 - 28 Mar 1946.
He devoted his spare time to the ground he loved best, his farm in Eufaula, OK. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and Past Master of Westwood Lodge No. 512, and was a member of the India Temple Bowling Unite for 26 years. He started his construction business in 1954 and retired in 1980.
Les and Neva celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary on Oct 1991. She survives along with their 4 children: Leslie W [Glenda] Sipes of OH, Art Sipes of Choctaw, Ron [Ann] Sipes of MWC, and Kay [Larry] Higdon of Choctaw; 3 brothers, Cleatice, Jack and Leonard, a sister Wanda J Willits; 10 grandchildren and a great granddaughter.
Services at Midwest Blvd Christian Church MWC, with burial at Chapel Hill Cemetery.
