Deceased Name: Phillips, Marla Kay

LIVINGSTON - Marla Kay (Gorder) Phillips, age 63, of Livingston, went home to Jesus on Thursday, June 9, 2005, at home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on Dec. 28, 1941, near Platteville, the daughter of Truman and Sarah Edna (Fry) Gorder. She married Robert Phillips on July 29, 1962, in Platteville, and became the three pointer of his life (nothing but net).

She is survived by her husband, Robert of Livingston; her mother, Edna of Platteville; three children, Steve (Carrie) Phillips of Stoughton, Scott (Andrea) Phillips of Stoughton, and Dawn (Bruce) Buri of Menomonee Falls; and her granddaughter, Emily.

She was preceded in death by her father, Truman; and brothers, Edward and Robert.

A Celebration of Life will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 12, 2005, at the LIVINGSTON UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, Livingston. Pastor Mary Ann Floerke will officiate. Friends may call from 1 p.m. until the time of the service at the church.

Memorials may be made to the Marla K Phillips memorial fund. The Bendorf Funeral Home, Platteville, is serving the family

Marla will be cremated and buried at a later date.
