"SISTER OF MRS. DURAN DIES IN GARDEN CITY
Mrs. J. Duran of Gonzales received word last Thursday of the death of her sister, Mrs. Henry Jones, in San Jose. Deceased was aged 42 years. Besides her husband and sister she leaves two daughters Miss Dorothy Carranza and Mrs. J. Nelson, and two other sisters, Mrs. David Littlejohn (formerly of Gonzales) and Mrs. Raymond Vioget of Watsonville.
Mrs. Jones was a member of El Pajaro Parlor No. 36, N. D. G. W. The funeral was held Monday in San Jose, with a requiem mass at St. Joseph's church."
