DeLyle O. Polster, 55 of 1147 Cleveland St., Kiel, died unexpectedly at his home Sunday morning, following a heart attack.
He was born May 1, 1927, in the Town of Russell and son of the late Louie and Katie Schuler Polster. He attended Stockbridge High School. Mr. Polster served in the US Navy in the South Pacific during World War II. On June 25, 1955, he and Irene Herwig were married at St. Peter United Church of Christ, Kiel. The couple made their home in Kiel and Mr. Polster worked at Kohler Co. the past 28 years. He was a member of St. Peter United Church of Christ, Kiel, and the Kohler Co. Quarter Century Club.
Surviving are three sons, Daniel of Plymouth, Donald of Sheboygan and Dean, at home; one daughter, Dorene, at home; six brothers, Gordon of New Holstein, Allen of Milwaukee, Henry and Louis, both of Kiel, James of Cleveland and Clarence , Waldo, and three sisters, Mrs. Walter Wagner of Kiel, and Mrs. Clarence Wagner and Mrs. Earl Otto, both of St. Nazianz. He was preceded in death by one brother.
Funeral service will be at St. Peter UCC, Kiel, with the Rev. John Baumann, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Kiel Cemetery.
