Estella Ware was born January 31, 1884, near Nelson, Nebraska and died November 30, 1918, at Sacramento, California. In early childhood her parents brought her to Lincoln county where she resided until the early spring of 1913, when she went with her husband, Charles Porterfield, to California. Mr. Porterfield died soon after reaching that state and in November, 1914 she married to Harold E. Willits, of Modesto, California. Relatives here had received word of her serious illness from pneumonia following influenza, but she was improving, when a change for the worse came and death followed in a few minutes. the remains were brought here and laid to rest in Riverside cemetery, following the funeral services at the M.E. church yesterday conducted by Rev. Gettys. Mrs. Willits leaves to mourn her loss, her husband, two children, Guy and Agnes, four brothers, Everett and John Ware, of Hershey, Ed and Ralph Ware, of Cheyenne; four sisters, Mrs. A.E. McConnell, Mrs. John Jacobson and Mrs. W.M. Haist, of Hershey, and Mrs. Arthur Harvey, of Cheyenne. To her sorrowing relatives the sympathy of her many friends is extended.
