JOHN PAYNE COX, 90, of Barton, Miss., retired dairy farmer, died Saturday at Saint Francis Hospital. Services will be at noon Monday at Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch with burial in Barton Cemetery. He was a member of Barton United Methodist Church. Mr. Cox, the widower of Allie Brigance Cox, leaves three sons, Frank T. Cox, John P. Cox Jr. and Lynn Cox, and a sister, Flora Curl, all of Barton, nine grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
