He was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Lena (Buller) Penner, seven brothers and three sisters.
He is survived by a brother Arthur and sister Clara Dalke, his wife Lavalla, daughter Mary Ellen and son Harold Glenn.
He graduated from Corn Okla. High School and served during World War II in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific theater. On Nov. 8, 1945, Harold married his high school sweetheart, Lavalla Leppke. He retired from the Oklahoma State Employment Security Commission and was a past president of R.O.S.E.S. Harold was a long time member of the Village Baptist Church.
Graveside services: Wednesday, September 1, at the Mennonite Brethren Church Cemetery in Corn, OK.
