WALLWORK, Mary Rita Sept. 10, 1918 - Aug. 1, 2010. Born in Hackensack, NJ, to Michael Finlay and Annie Reardon, she was raised in Yonkers, NY. She worked in defense industry during World War II, married, and raised three sons, and later divorced, remarried to the late Edward J. Wallwork (June 9, 2004) who had two daughters. She worked as a kitchen aide in a variety of hospitals in New York and Florida. Inseparable for 43 years, she and Ed were regulars on the Bingo scene in Palm Harbor, where they resided for 27 years. Eldest of four, she is survived by her sister Alicia Fedor, Palm Harbor and two sons William Sweeney, Clearwater, David Wallwork, Herndon, VA; one daughter Ellen Bedford, Andover, MA; 10 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. She will be buried in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Hastings-on-Hudson, NY. She was an annual contributor to the Salvation Army and the Friends of Karen. Her sweet, gentle spirit will be greatly missed.
