Richard Lee Imboden, 67, of Chillicothe, went to be with his Lord and Savior at 1:05 a.m. Saturday, August 28, 2010 in the Adena Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.

He was born December 25, 1942, in Ross County, to the late Clem and Evelyn Long Imboden. On June 3, 1961, he married the former Norma Mick who survives.

In addition to his wife, Norma, of 49 years; he is survived by two sons; a daughter; granddaughter; two great granddaughters; six brothers; two sisters; and two sisters-in-law.

In addition to his parents; he was predeceased by a son, Gregg Imboden; a grandson, Benjamin Imboden; brothers, Don and Ivan Imboden; and a sister, Barb Dement.

Richard attended Jefferson Avenue C.C.C.U. He had worked as a welder.

A graveside service will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 1, 2010 in Greenlawn Cemetery with Pastor Mark Clendaniel officiating. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the Ross County Veterans Honor Guard. There will be no calling hours.

Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Ware's to help the family with funeral costs.
