James Robinson Crawford

James R. Crawford, loving husband, father, and grandfather passed away Nov. 17, 2001 in Salt Lake City.

Born August 17, 1923 in Memphis, Tenn. to Will and Phoebe Davis Crawford. Married Wanda Arlene Leggroan on July 29, 1942 in Salt Lake City. James loved Bar-B-Q's,

fishing, photography, oil painting, hunting, gardening, and a "Good Joke". He worked for several years as an X-Ray Technician. He served his country in the U.S. Navy in World War II. He especially loved being with his family.

Survived by wife, Wanda, sons, James Jr., Ronald (Barbara), William Terry (Gloria), daughters, Dianne (Jerry) Parkin, Penny (Sylvester) Daniels, 13 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, siblings, and grandson Anthony Pearson.

Funeral services will be held Fri. Nov. 23, 2001, 2 p.m. Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 S. Redwood Rd. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services. Interment Redwood Memorial Estates Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Deseret Memorial Mortuary.
