Killed Near Copperas Cove
News arrived this morning in town that A. Shubert, a farmer near Copperas Cove, was killed last evening or late yesterday afternoon, about three miles this side of Copperas Cove, by Bob Somerville.
It seems that they had had a difficulty in which Shubert drove Somerville off his place. Meeting yesterday, the difficulty was renewed, with result stated. Somerville surrendered to officers.
Shubert was known by many of our citizens, having done considerable crayon work for parties residing here, being an artist of some merit. He had only one arm.
