Madge Joyce Richardson Hughes, 82, of Elizabethtown, died Saturday, Aug. 28, 2010 at Hardin Memorial Hospital.
She was born Oct. 12, 1927, to the late Edger and Susie Richardson. She was a member of Summit United Methodist Church and retired from E-town Sportswear.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Robert L. Hughes, who died Aug. 28, 2009, two brothers, Fred and Gayle Richardson, and a grandchild, Bradley Mitchell.
Survivors include two sons, Ed (Patricia) Hughes of Bonita Springs, Fla., and Dan (Laura) Hughes of Frankfort; two daughters, Donna (Larry) Mitchell of Elizabethtown, and Deborah Vittitoe Boston of Louisville; seven grandchildren, Eric, Ronnie, Angela, Jeffrey, Tim, Christopher and Bradley; and seven great-grandchildren.
The funeral is at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Brown Funeral Home with the Rev. Don Sexton officiating. Burial will be in Summit Methodist Church Cemetery.
