BEAVER Okla. - Pete Milton Bartel, 83, died Friday, Aug. 27, 2010, in Oklahoma City.
Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Balko Community Faith Church in Balko with Fred Huff and Jim Fox officiating. Burial will be in Balko Mennonite Cemetery in Balko by Clark Funeral Service of Beaver.
Mr. Bartel was born Dec. 2, 1926, in Beaver County to Menno and Julia Penner Bartel. He married Delores Claybrook in Boyd on March 25, 1951.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Kevin Bartel of Weatherford, Okla.; three daughters, Vicki Gardiner of Tuttle, Tony Brown of Balko and Julie Biebrich of Oklahoma City; a brother, Van Bartel of Balko; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
