The obituary for John Perry Rose stated that he had died Mar. 3, at his home in Windsor. He was born in Shelby Co., the son of Jehiel Rose who came here from Potsdam, NY many years ago. He would have been 76 on March 26. He married Miss Illie Aldridge, Feb. 8, 1876. He was survived by his wife, sons, Trua J. of Windsor, Bert of Bruno, MN, Fred of Miller, SD, Hugh of Decatur; daughters, Mrs. Rose [Charles] Goddard of Windsor; Mrs. Erma [J. E. ] Dickel of Gillespie and Miss Ina, a student at Normal; several grandchildren including Arthur, Glenn and Rose Goddard. Burial was in Windsor Cemetery. Windsor Gazette - Friday - 5 Mar 1926
