She graduated from Kerman High School and attended Fresno City College and Heald College of Business.
She owned her home business called Dazzle Me Designs. Kerrie was the "Queen of Bling". Throughout Kerman and the surrounding area it is easy to find someone wearing one of her shirts with a colorful bling design, a graduate with Kerrie's artwork on their mortarboard, or other objects that were blinged.
Kerrie will always be remembered as a loving and nurturing wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. Her children were her first priority. She enjoyed scrapbooking and would spend hours putting together albums for her children. She enjoyed going to her children's games, band events, dance recitals and other activities and cheering them on. She loved animals and bred poodles.
Kerrie will be remembered for her valiantly fought brief battle with cancer. She never complained and encouraged others through her kind words, encouragement, and bright smile. She placed her complete trust in God.
Although she was saddened to leave her family and friends behind, she was at peace knowing God's arms were wrapped tightly around her each day and would one day call her home. We are saddened and mourn, but also rejoice as we know Kerrie is now walking the "BeDazzled" streets of gold and walking and talking with Jesus.
Kerrie will be greatly missed by her family and friends. We take comfort that she is "dancing with Jesus" free from pain and discomfort.
With her family by her side, she joined the Church Triumphant on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 after a brief battle with cancer.
Kerrie is survived by her husband, Todd, of 19 years; her 3 young children; her parents; her brother and his wife; and five nieces.
A Graveside Service was held on Tuesday, August 31 at Fresno Memorial Gardens, followed by a Memorial Service on Tuesday at the Kerman Covenant Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations be made to a scholarship fund for Kerrie's children. The Todd Miller Children Scholarship Fund has been established at the Kerman Branch of Central Valley Community Bank.
