"MRS. AUGUSTA NICOLSON
ONEIDA - Mrs. Augusta Nicholson, 35, of Oneida, died Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. in the Reisebeiter Nursing Home at Altona, where she had been a patient for two months.
She was born May 30, 1870 in Sweden and at the age of 20 came to the United States, residing since that time in the Oneida community. She was married in Knox County to Ben Nicholson, who preceded her in death in 1940.
Surviving are two sons, Albin and Harry of Oneida; two daughters, Mrs. Esther Beckman of Wyanet and Mrs. Hannah Strawhacker of Oneida, 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Three daughters, a son and two brothers preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Hendricks Funeral Home, Oneida, where friends may call this evening. Burial will be in the Oneida Cemetery."

ONEIDA - Funeral services were held at the Hendricks Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Thursday for Mrs. Augusta Nicholson. The Rev. H. R. Brinkman, minister of the Methodist Church, officiated. Singers were Mrs. Mauritz Hodges and Reid Carson, with Mrs. Reid Carson as accompanist.
Pallbearers were Hugh Henry, William Johnson, Franklin LaDuke, Kenneth Lawson, Wilbur Bowman and Goran Larson all of Oneida. Interment was in Oneida Cemetery.
Mrs. Nicholson was born May 30, 1870 and died last July 26. She is survived by two daughters, Hanna Strawhacker, Oneida, and Mrs. Clarence Beckman, Wyanet, and two sons, Harry and Albin Nicholson, Oneida."
