JOHN W. LOVELACE ILLNESS VICTIM
John W. Lovelace, 1209 Sixth Avenue, south, well-known Decatur citizen, died at 10 o'clock Monday morning at Benevolent Society Hospital. Mr. Lovelace, who was 50 years of age, was an employe of the Cotton Belt Railroad at Pine Bluff, Arkansas. He had been in ill health several months.

Final rites will be held at 3 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at Central Methodist Church, with Rev. R.L. Archibald, the pastor, officiating. Burial in City Cemetery will be in charge of Brown. The procession will leave the home for the church at 2:30 tomorrow afternoon.

Mr. Lovelace is survived by his widow; four daughters, Mrs. E.W. Casteel, Mrs. Otto Nebrig, Misses Marjorie and Florence Lovelace, all of Decatur; two sisters, Mrs. S.W. Beall and Miss Margie Lovelace, of Lafayette; a brother, L.A. Lovelace, of Lafayette; two grandchildren, Beverly Jane Nebrig and Otto Nebrig Jr of Decatur.

The following will be pallbearers: A.P. Johnston, W.O. Lipscomb, W.E. Howe, W.A. Britain, H.H. Kelly, A.H. Garnett, P.C. Cavnar and W.C. Self.

Mr. Lovelace had been a member of the Methodist church for many years.

He was the son of M.A. Lovelace and Mary Wilder, both born in Georgia. His wife was Emilie Lovelace. He worked for the Railroad. They resided at 1209 6th Ave. S. Cause of death was myocarditis.
