PAMPA DAILY NEWS, Pampa Texas, 5 April 1936, p. 1, column 1, Carson County Resident for 23 Years Dies, "C. A. Noel, 54, longtime resident, of Carson county, died suddenly at his farm home four miles north of White Deer yesterday morning. He was found dead in his bed about 7 o'clock when Mrs. Noel went to wake him for breakfast. Death was attributed to angina pectoris. — The Noels moved to this Carson county farm 23 years ago and since then have been prominent in farming and stock circles. Mr. Noel was a member and active worker in the White Deer Baptist church here. — Survivors are Mrs. Noel, four daughters, Martha, Emma, Mae and Murle, all at home and Mrs. Ray Patty, Vernon; one son, Charles Noel, at home. Other survivors are three sisters, Mrs. J. A. McNulty, Spearman, Mrs. Tom Grady, Phoenix, Ariz., and Mrs. Bud Seitz, White Deer; two brothers, J. L. Noel, Pampa, and J. G. Noel, San Antonio; a half–brother, Herbert Noel, Hobbs, N. M. — Funeral services will be conducted at the First Baptist Church, White Deer, at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon. Burial will follow in White Deer Cemetery."
