Elton- Funeral service for Mr. Gary Langley, 60, will be held Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at 10:00AM in Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton. Father Marshall Boulet & Deacon John Eaves will officiate. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday from 2pm-10pm with a rosary at 6:30PM and a singing service at 7PM. Visitation will continue Tuesday at 8AM until time of service. Mr. Langley was a resident of Elton. He was a supervisor for the Department of Public Safety and Corrections of Prison Industries for 15 years. Gary enjoyed hunting, farming, and loved his horses. He was a devoted father, brother, and especially a paw paw. He passed away Thursday, August 26, 2010. He is survived by his fiancé, Carol Day of Elton; five children, Kevin Langley of Elton, Tommy Day of Elton, Amy Porter of Eunice, Janie Day of Elton, & Cori Brown of Baton Rouge; one brother, Terry Langley and wife Mildred of Oakdale; 9 grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
