Nancy Jane had 12 children but in 1900 only 11 children where still living.
She died at the home of her daughter Clara Kness in Monticello, Iowa, aged 65 years, 9 months and 6 days.
At age 6 her parents moved to Jones County, Iowa where her girlhood was spent. On Christmas day she married David E. Miller. All her children outlived her but Austin.
