MRS. MARY BELL SMITH
Mrs. Mary Bell Smith, 72, resident of Vivian for the past 12 years, died at 8 p.m. Saturday at a Shreveport hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at the Church of the Nazarene in Vivian with the Rev. B.M. Loftin officiating. Burial will be in the Vivian cemetery. The body will be at the Rose-Neath funeral chapel until 1 p.m. today.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband, Harper Smith; two sons, G.B. Smith of Vivian, and Joe W. Smith of Little Rock, Ark; one daughter, Mrs. Daisy Sneed of Vivian; four sisters, Mrs. Clara Newton and Mrs. B.A. Phillips of Shreveport, Mrs. Nannie Deckard of Franklin, Texas, and Mrs Maude Corn of Dallas, Texas; and one brother, J.P. Nelson of Mexia, Texas.
