ST. GEORGE - Dr. Dudley D. Tebbs, 80, longtime Utah dentist, died of natural causes Wednesday at 7:20 p.m. in a St. George rest home.
A member of the Utah Dental Assn., Dr. Tebbs practiced dentistry in Panguitch, Mount Pleasant, Hyrum and Salt Lake City.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Dr. Tebbs was born Nov. 30, 1885, in Panguitch, a son of Daniel F. and Susan Ellen Barnes Tebbs. He married Odelia Barney Sept. 7, 1910, in the
St. George LDS Temple. She died March 4, 1941.
Survivors include 2 sons and 2 daughters, Mrs. Ott (Vesta) Seidel, Salt Lake City; Calvin C. Tebbs, Salt Lake City; B. Barney Tebbs, St. George, and Mrs. Gene (Thorene) B. Lether, Holladay; 13 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be Friday at 11 a.m. in the Panguitch North LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the Spilsbury Funeral Home, St. George, Thursday from 7 until 8 p.m., and at the Relief Society Room of the Panguitch Ward chapel Friday prior to services.
Graveside services will be held Friday at 5 p.m. in the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
