Mrs. Fred T. Walker, died Monday, March 28, at the age of 90. She had been a resident of Thomas Nursing Center for several years. She had lived in the county since she was a young girl and had lived on the same farm the time she and Mr. Walker married December 24, 1912. Mrs Walker was a member of 1st Christian Church. The former Amanda Leona (Rone) Eads. She was the daughter of William and Susan Mills Eads, who lived in Mustang, Oklahoma before coming here. Upon moving to Collingsworth County, the family lived in the Aberdeen-Needwood area in the Northeast part of the county.Surviving Mrs. Walker is one son, Tommy Walker of Thomas Nursing Center, Wellington, Mrs. Art Eads of Wellington and Mrs J. M. Tindall of Shamrock are sister in -laws and the only other relatives are nieces and nephews: Mrs. Mayer Eads and Ernest Eads, Amarillo; Mrs. Bernice Higgins, Loma, Colorado; Mrs. Annie Downs and Mrs. Bonnie Belvins, Lubbock; Mrs. Lonnie Jones, Mustang, Oklahoma; Bernard Eads, Texline, William Eads, Clayton, N.M.; Clarence Grant, Midland; Billie Boone Eads, Pampa; Alf Eads, Wheeler and Jack Eads.
