Ganelle Elizabeth 'Peg' Kendall, 89, Altoona, died Tues., Aug. 24, 2010 at Altoona Hospital. She was born in Philipsburg, to Perry & Della (Renaud) Hollenback. She married Albert W. Kendall on May 21, 1945, in Hollidaysburg and he died Jan. 13, 1974. Survived by son, Clifford Perry Kendall, Wilmington, DE; daughter, Carolyn, Altoona; granddaughter, Laura Elizabeth, NC; and nieces: Becky Swope, Philipsburg and Janet Hoover, Hollidaysburg. Peg was a 1938 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School and received an associate's degree from Penn State Univ. She retired in 1990 as a laboratory director from Kendall Laboratories with 50 years of service. Member, Providence Presbyterian Church. E. Merrill Smith Funeral Home, Altoona.
