PLYMOUTH - Services for Elmer Young, 72, of Rt. 3, who died at 2 a.m. Saturday in his home after a sudden illness, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday (CST) in the Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Knox. Rev. Joseph Rogers, pastor of Eagle Creek Church, of which Young was a member, will officiate. Burial will be in Eagle Creek Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Monday until the hour of services in the memorial chapel.
He was a school bus driver for the Knox Community Schools for 31 years. He was born on Sept. 14, 1906, in Chicago, Ill. His wife, Cloe Freet, died in 1976. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Carl Haag, of Rt. 3, Plymouth; three grandchildren; and one brother, Frank Young of Knox.
