Mr. Hardel was born Aug. 10, 1881 in the Town of Dakota and married Anna Zuehlke, who proceeded him in death, Aug. 16, 1905 at Neshkoro. He lived on a farm in the Town of Dakota most of his early life with the exception of four years when he was employed at Hartford. In 1918 he moved to his farm in the Town of Marion where he lived until his retirement when he moved to Wautoma.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Esther Keberle, Milwaukee and Mrs. Evelyn Maynard, Wautoma; three sons, Edward, Berlin, Arnold, Milwaukee and Hubert, Sheboygan; a brother, Emil, Neshkoro; and eight grandchildren.
Services will be at Peace Lutheran Church at 2 p.m. Monday, the Rev. Gerhard A. Kaniess officiating. Burial will be in Wautoma Union Cemetery.
Friends may call at Goult-Patterson-Hardell Funeral Home, Wautoma, after 2 p.m. Sunday.
