COOKEVILLE Funeral services for Mallie White, 86, of Cookeville, will be held at 11 a.m. on Thurs., Dec. 16, from the chapel of Whitson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Cookeville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until time of services, on Thursday, at the funeral home.
Mrs. White died on Mon., Dec. 13, 2004, in Masters Health Care Center in Algood.
She was born on Oct. 1, 1918, in Putnam County to the late Manton and Emma Sullivan McCaleb.
Mrs. White was a homemaker and a member of West View Baptist Church.
Her family includes a son, Richard A. White of Huntington Beach, Calif.; a sister, Auby Bohannon of Cookeville; and a granddaughter, Jackie White of Washington State.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Taft White; and a host of brothers and
sisters.
