Burial was in Double Church Cemetery near Winnfield under direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.
Mr. Martin died Monday, September 29, 1975 at 6:55 p.m. in a local hospital after a short illness.
Mr. Martin was a forestry technician with the U.S. Forest Service and had served as a member of the Board of Stewards of the First United Methodist Church of which he was a member.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Claudia C. Martin of Winnfield; one daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Bates, Georgetown; one brother, Eddie Martin of Winnfield; three sisters, Mrs. Bryan Kelley and Mrs. Ida Briley, both of Winnfield, and Mrs. Walter Everett of Pineville.
Pallbearers included George Caldwell, George Tannehill, Donald Kelley, Rickey Bates, Ray Lee Elliott, and Johnny Everett.
