He was a retired lineman from IBEW Local 317. He was very well known for very unusual inventions like his wheel, twin-cab truck and many other unique creations.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Naomi; parents, Ernest and Drucilla Beckett; sister, Juanita; and brother, Garland.
He is survived by his wife, Juanita; children, Michael and David and his wife, Linda, all of Hurricane, Tim and his wife, Kay, of Culloden and Joyce of Poca; six stepchildren; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday, August 13, at Allen Funeral Home, Hurricane, with Pastor Robert "Butch" Leadman. Burial will follow in Trace Fork Cemetery.
