William A. Crego, 95, of Baldwinsville, died Saturday, December 31, 2005, at Lancaster General Hospital, PA. Born in Baldwinsville, he owned and operated the Crego Dairy Farm for over 70 years. He was the longest living member and elder of the First Presbyterian Church, Baldwinsville. He was a member of the Baldwinsville Grange and Farm Bureau. Assessor for the Town of VanBuren for many years and a past president of the Syracuse Dairy Council. He was a former member of the Riverview Cemetery Association, formerly served on the Baldwinsville school board, and delivered Meals on Wheels in the area for many years. He was predeceased by his wife Ruth and a brother Clifford, who both died in 1999.
Memorial service Saturday, 11 a.m., January 28, 2006, at the First Presbyterian Church of Baldwinsville, 64 Oswego Street. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Baldwinsville.
