Daughter of the late Henry Ethel and Bessie Baxley Richardson, she was a member of Salem Baptist Church where her funeral was held on on June 5, 2009, with The Rev. Wayne Revisky officiating. She was survived by one son, Enoch Oliver Smith, Jr.; three daughters, Sandra Smith Tood (Ford), Libby Smith Nobles (Johnny) and Debbie Smith Frye (Webby); 11 graandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; three sisters, Margaret Bracey, Mary Frances Monroe and Betty Jo Lau; and an extended family of relatives. He was a teacher's aide with the Horry County Schools for many years.
