SEWANEE, TN - Buford Hughllin McBee, 80, died Wednesday, August 18, 2010, at Erlanger hospital in Chattanooga, TN.
He was a U. S. Army and U. S. Navy Veteran.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie McBee; parents, Robert and Lena Mae McBee; brothers. Joe Dallas McBee and Robert McBee.
Survivors include his children. Patsy Jo (Charles) Hawkins. Johnny (Lydia) McBee and Jimmy H. (Susan) McBee, all of Sewanee, TN; three grandchildren, Travis and Corey Hawkins, Jonathan McBee; three great-grandchildren; stepfather, William Jess Sargent, of Smithville, TN; sister, Edna FairBanks, Ooltewah TN; Ava Beacraft, Monteagle, TN; half brother. Clifford McBee, Florida; two half sisters, Helen Smith, Sewanee and Bobbie Jo.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Robert Johnson, the Rev. J.B. Jones and Rev. Lynn Cassidy officiating.
Burial will follow in McBee Family Cemetery in Sewanee, TN, with military honors.
Family will receive friends today from 5-9 p.m.
