MAURICE HENLE
Maurice Henle, a native of Cincinnati and former city editor of The Cincinnati Post (now The Post & Times-Star), passed away at his home in Norris, Tenn., Saturday, Jan. 10th.
Mr. Henle was a public information official with the Tennessee Valley Authority from 1934 until he retired in 1963.
He joined the Post news staff after his school days and was with that afternoon daily many years. He was city editor for two years.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ann Gellenbeck Henle, formerly of The Post staff; two daughters, Miss Patricia Henle of Atlanta and Mrs. Le Roy Jay Jr. of Charleston, S.C.; a sister, Miss Grace Henle, 1635 Section Road, former executive director of the Big Brothers Association; a brother, Carl, of the same address; and three grandchildren.
Interment was in Norris Monday, Jan. 12th.
