Former Mirror Printer Dies in Buffalo Hospital

Roy E. Boslet, 59, of 73 Richmond Ave., Buffalo, N.Y., Mirror Printing company printer from April 24, 1914, to Sep 6, 1949, died at 1:30 o'clock this morning at the Buffalo Veterans Administration hospital.

Mr. Boslet was born Aug. 22, 1897, in Altoona, a son of Cyrillus and Florence (Fonner) Boslet. He was married to the former Josephine Singleton.

Surviving are his wife, three children; Mrs. Robert McNamara and Donald F. of Niagara Falls, N.Y., and Irvin of Altoona, and these brothers and sisters, Homer, Clair E., Charles, Merle, Mrs. Fred Resig, Mrs. Ralph Martin and Mrs. Russell Reeder, all of Altoona and Florine Carroll of Groton, Conn.

A veteran of World War I, Mr. Boslet was a member of the branch 231 Catholic Knights of St. George, and local 9, International Typographical union. He was a former member of St. Leo's Catholic church.

Friends will be received at the Jones Funeral hom after 7 o'clock tomorrow evening.


*Roy married Ruth A. Jacobs and had 3 children together. Ruth passed away May 22, 1987.
