Edna C. Martin 69, of 2019 19th St. died at 10:10 a.m. Friday, Aug 1, 1980, in Mercy Hospital, after an extended illness.
She was born April 30, 1911, in Altoona, the daughter of Cyrillus and Florence (Fonner) Boslet, and Sept. 11, 1929, in Cumberland, Md., married Ralph Martin, who died May 17, 1977.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Janest L. Pufka and Mrs. Doris A. Smith of Altoona; nine grandchildren and four brothers and sisters, Mrs. Irma Resig and Merle of Altoona, Mrs. Florine Carroll of Groton, Conn., and Clair of Sinking Springs.
Mrs. Martin was a member of St. Leo's Catholic Church, Altar and Rosary Society and Catholic Knights of St. George Auxilary of St. Leo's Parish, where she was treasurer.
Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the Jones Funeral Home.
MARTIN - The funeral of Edna C. Martin of 2019 19th St. will be held with a mass of Christian burial at 12:30 p.m. Monday in St. Leo's Catholic Church.
Interment in Calvary Cemetery. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the Jones Funeral Home, where a wake service will be held at 8 p.m. Saturday.
