Mrs. Lois Winnie Oliver, 70, of Waynesville died early Thursday morning at Hospice of the Golden Isles in Brunswick after an extended illness.

She was born in Blackshear, Georgia to the late James Leonard Brannon and Agnes Youmans Brannon.
also preceded in death by a brother, Rob Hunter and a sister, Mary Ann Brannon.

Mrs. Oliver had made her home in Brantley and Ware Counties for most of her life. She worked for the Ware County and Brantley County Tag Offices, and owned Oliver Logging Company. She was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church, and enjoyed working outside in her garden.
She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Left to carry on by two daughters, Nita Barwick and her husband Roger of Waynesville,
Rita Forrister and her husband Daniel of Nahunta,
a son, Mike Prescott and his wife Jan of Waycross,

Grand children:
Trish Prescott. M. Terry Prescott Jr., Michael Prescott, Angela Prescott, Matthew Prescott, Amanda Prescott, Rachael Prescott, Amy Dean, Brittany Aldaba, Brooke Dixon, Dannie Payne Roberson.

a sister, Dorothy Thrift of Waycross,
a brother, Jim Hunter and his wife Edith of Blackshear,
an aunt Aline Childress Harrison of Blackshear,
and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Sunday in the Miles-Odum Funeral Home Chapel.
The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 5-7 p.m., at the funeral home.
Also, as a convience the family will be receiving friends and family on Friday from l:00 p.m., until at the home of Roger and Nita Barwick, 183 Holly Hill Rd., Waynesville, Georgia.
