She was born in Pierce County to the late James Leonard Brannon and Agnes Youmans Brannon. She was a homemaker most of her life and attended Calvary Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Arthur Thrift.
She is survived by three children, Tina Dykes (Walt) of Hortense, Danny Thrift of Hortense, and Michelle Link (Jason) of Waycross; four grandchildren, Dylan Dykes (Tammy), Devin Dykes (Cecilia), Brittini Tuten (Matthew), and Lexi Price; three great grandchildren, Lillie Dykes, Gabe Dykes, and Ella Dykes; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday (February 7, 2022) at the Music Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Thomas Cemetery. The family will begin receiving friends at the funeral home on Monday at 10:00 a.m.
