Ringgold - Horace F. Boies, 81, died Friday morning in Highland Hospital in Shreveport. Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday in the Springhill Baptist Church with the Rev. John McAlexander officiating.
Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery under the direction of Rockett Funeral Home.
Survivors H. G. Boies of Ringgold, Norval Boies of Tulsa, Okla. and Joel Boies of Shreveport; one daughter, Mrs. Elma Shepherd of Ringgold; one brother, Otis Boies of Yuba City, Calif.; 10 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
