Obituary: Dimple Hutchins Smith Tyree, 82, of Melbourne, AR, died Sunday, March 11, 2001, at a nursing home in Melbourne. Born December 23, 1918 in White County, AR, she was the daughter of Benjamin Hardy Hutchins and Josie Stephens. She was a homemaker and a member of Melbourne Church of Christ.

Survivors include four sons; Robert H. Smith, Charles Smith and John Smith, all of Twin Creek AR; and Jimmie Smith of Hot Springs, AR; two daughters, Alene Stevens of Twin Creek, and Jerry Haney of Violet Hill, AR.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her first husband Robert Hanley Smith & second husband Pete Tyree.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Roman and Billy Howard Memorial Chapel in Melbourne, with Glen Green and Ralph Wallace officiating. Burial will be at Combs Cemetery in Melbourne with arrangements by Eddie's Family Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Donald Hutchins, Dennis Hutchins, Dean Hutchins, Leon Hutchins, L.C. Hutchins and Gary Hutchins. Honorary pallbearers are Boyce Gillihan, Shelby Gillihan, Junior Gillihan, George Gillihan, and Clifton Gillihan
