VIRGINIA - Aaron Alexander Cooper, 26, of Virginia, died unexpectedly July 28, 2010.
Born in Bath, Maine, on Sept. 27, 1983, he was the son of Kim M. Strickland and George W. Cooper.
Aaron loved spending time at the beach and enjoyed activities such as swimming, snorkeling, football, watching movies and reading. He had a strong interest in airplanes and knew many facts regarding military type aircrafts. He will be greatly missed by all and his family has faith that he is with God. They are saddened that he was taken from this life in a violent way. Lots of love and Godspeed.
He is survived by his parents; his maternal grandmother, Madeline Hill of Waterville, Maine; fraternal grandmother, Nellie Cooper of Delaware; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and a special friend, Melva Lee of Norfolk.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, William Hill.
A graveside service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 20, at the Fairfield Center Cemetery (Toziers Cemetery), Green Road, Fairfield, Maine. (Morning Sentinel 8/19/2010)
