Mr. LeRoy Albert Wingate, 60, died Feb. 10 at the Villa nursing home in Pistakee Bay. He was born Aug. 17, 1909 in Crystal Lake, the son of the late Clyde and Florence Alcott Wingate.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Ruby Jopp Wingate, whom he married Aug. 22, 1943 in Crystal Lake; two daughters, Mrs. Douglas (Susan) Hilton of Crystal Lake and Mrs. John (Joyce) Shepard of Pasadena, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Philip (Edna) Dornburn and Mrs. Helen West, both of Waukegan, and Mrs. G. C. Bishop of Caruthersville, Mo.; and a foster brother, Preston Yeoman of Crystal Lake.
