Lawrence "Slim" David, 81, died Aug. 1, 1998, of natural causes in the same Chiloquin home where he was born.
Mr. David was born to Robert and Elizabeth (DuVall) David.
He attended school in Chiloquin. He worked as a rancher and cared for his parents when they were no longer able to care for themselves.
He enjoyed swimming, camping, and going to movies and carnivals.
Survivors include his nieces and nephews, James David, Gordon David, Bobby and Linda David, Shirley and Joe Hobbs, Sandra and Richard Hamilton, and Ried David Jr., all of Chiloquin, Arelan and Sammie David of California; Carrol LeBeau of Idaho, and Debbie and Tony wilder of Marcola; and numerous other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Randolph, Lloyd, and Reid, sisters, Marion and Enid, and sister-in-law, Irene.
