She was born at Cisne, Ill. on June 24, 1873. With her husband, William Wilkison, whom she married over 60 years ago in Kansas, she came to Elmira in 1920. William passed away in 1956. Mrs. Wilkison was a member of the Better Homes Club and was active in the Elmira Church of Christ and the Ladies Aid. Until a few months ago, she had an active hobby, that of piecing quilts, which she has made many of.
She is survived by 2 sons Dean L. of Phoenix, Ariz. and Ray O. of Elmira; 3 daughters, Marie Eaves of Elmira, Mildred Yates and Ruby Harmon both of Eugene; a sister, Almeda Ray of Eugene; 16 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Willett Jessee was in charge of the funeral services held at Lounsbury-Musgrove Funeral Chapel Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 21. Interment was at West Lawn.
