WILKISON - William Alexander Wilkison of Elmira, Ore., died at his home on Feb. 24, 1956 at the age of 94 years. He was born Jan. 27, 1862, in Cisne, Ill., and has been a resident of this community for the past 34 years. He was united in marriage to Virginia Beeson at Logan, Kans., on Feb. 26, 1890. Besides his wife, who survives him, are the following children: Clarence R. of McLoud, Okla., Dean L., of Rosberg(sic), Ray O. and Mrs. L. H. Eaves, both of Elmira, Mrs. Grant Yates and Mrs. William Harmon, both of Eugene; 1 son, William W. preceded his father in death in 1950; also surviving are 16 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Mr. Wilkison was a member of the Christian Church. Friends invited to attend funeral services Tuesday, Feb. 28, 1956 at 2 p.m. in the Elmira Church of Christ, Elmira, Ore. Interment in West Lawn Cemetery. Simon Lounsbury in charge.
