Charlie (Bud) Keenum

Funeral for Charlie M. Keenum, 77, of 358 Co. Rd. 344, Danville, will be Friday, September 27, at 11:00 a.m. at Enon Baptist Church with the Revs. Phil Waldrep, Tim Keenum and Johnny Huey officiating.

Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery with Parkway Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Keenum died Tuesday, September 24, 1996, at his residence. He was a 54 year employee of Tennessee Valley Printing Press, a farmer and a life long member of Enon Baptist Church where he also served as a deacon for 47 years and a Sunday School teacher. He was a graduate of Lawrence County High School and Gadsden Trade School.

He is survived by his wife, Mildred Standridge Keenum of Danville; one son, Rodger D. Keenum of Danville; three daughters, Carolyn Elaine Balch of Decatur, Dianne Gillespie of Hillsboro and Rita Wilson of Danville; two brothers, W. D. (Clint) Keenum of Decatur and Jimmy Keenum of Danville; two sisters, Burnell Waldrep of Decatur and Sallie Rit Jones of Danville; 12 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Scott Keenum, Shane Keenum, Steven Keenum, Seth Keenum, Joel Gillespie, Dustin Balch and Ashley Balch.

Honorary pallbearers will be deacons of Enon Baptist Church.
