EDWIN NORRIS BELT
Edwin Norris Belt, 69, of Route 4, Romney, died Sunday afternoon, September 1, at Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, Maryland.
Born in Petersburg, August 5, 1916, he was a son of the late A. Jack Belt and Nancy Millar Belt.
He was a retired switchman from the Chessie System and a member of St. Luke's Presbyterian Church.
He was preceded in death in 1977 by his wife, Wilda R. (Ours) Belt.
Surviving is one son, John J. Belt, Baltimore, Md.; one daughter, Nancy C. Belt, New York, N.Y., and one brother, Jack Belt, Petersburg.
Services were held Wednesday (today) at 11 a.m. at the Shaffer Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dr. Donald Swope officiating. Interment was in St. Luke's Cemetery, River Road, Romney.
